![]() To be honest, even as a relative newcomer, I wish I could upgrade my Augmented Instruments to include Brass and Piano at an affordable price or could purchase a special Bundle that would give me presets and samples for Augmented Brass inside ALV. If I were a long-time user of Arturia products, I might be upset, too, if this is an unannounced change in ALV policy. Since I don’t have any expansion packs with Augmented Brass samples and presets, its not accessible in ALV. Best thing you can do is just play around using the principles you know from using other synths, and see which ones will make the acid sounds you want. The Buchla Easel is the best for it, but the 2600 and Matrix-12 have some good ones too. So when I bought a three-pack recently (Damaged Pianos, Future Voices, and Suspense Strings), I got access to the ALV version of Augmented Pianos. A lot of them have some pretty decent Acid sounds on there. I had purchased Augmented Strings and Augmented Voices but not Augmented Piano or Augmented Brass. “You must have a license for something that give you access to Augmented Brass it look like to me.” “I’m going to disagree with you - Augmented Brass and Piano ARE in ALV. Of course, I think like a newcomer to Arturia, not a Veteran. Transmutation (Sequence generation & alteration) Built-in scales. So, I got to experience it in its fullest and make a decision if I wanted to buy it at the Intro price or wait to see if there will be any expansion packs that will let me use it in ALV or wait to see if it will be in included in an updated V Collection should I want to do that. Advanced polymetric sequencer & arpeggiator. I can see both sides, but with regard to Acid V, I was able to use it as a demo. I am relatively new to using Arturia’s products, so I’m staying out of the change-of-procedures debate. Normally you should something similar to the screenshot below (With only Factory presets being displayed): If you do deactivate through the Arturia Software Center all of your licenses and then only activate Analog Lab V, could you please confirm if you do still currently these instruments and their related presets? Of course, i understand that based on your past experience and the fact that presets dedicated to newly released instrument are not being accessible anymore to user not owning the corresponding licenses may be frustrating and i’m sorry about that but unfortunately we cannot do that much about that.Īs a side note, i also double checked and can also confirm that Augmented Brass & Augmented Grand Piano presets are not accessible neither without owning their corresponding licenses, so i must admit that i’m a bit confused regarding this aspect. So, to see it displayed this requires to have a valid Acid V license and have it properly activated through the Arturia Software Center. Analog Lab V 5.7.4.371 already includes Acid V, however the engine and the presets will be only accessible to Acid V owners unfortunately. So, after reading your comments and double checking these aspects to confirm the current situation, here are some important information: The MiniLab 3 controller maintains roughly the same shape as the MkII, with its deep panel giving it the same. As well as the compact controller, MiniLab 3 comes with a pareddown version of the sound suite, dubbed Analog Lab Intro. It is however more or less constantly one of the above states.Let’s try to clarify a few things as there seem to be some confusion here. MiniLab is a portable and significantly more affordable alternative to the larger KeyLab master keyboards. It’s all over the place, I haven’t been able to find a trigger or pattern to any of these, it can change just from loading a new preset, but be different when you reload the same preset. Arturia V Collection X is one of the biggest updates to the virtual synth library in quite some time. Other times the macro don’t work and only the original knobs do. Other times the orignal knobs will mess with the parameter range available to the macros, but not cause a direct change to the sound. Most of the time the orignal knobs don’t do anything on their own, but the macros will manipulate them and cause the relevant change per the macro assignment. ![]() The interaction between the original knobs and the macros are weird on presets, and changes seemingly at random. ![]() This is a constant for me, so no external sequencing… The moment you don’t use the built in sequencer/arp the decay knob does nothing. Yeah, there’s quite a few issues with the knobs!
